Alfie specialises in strategic business development in any market condition creating niche market growth segments that is profitable, investment grade, sustainable and scalable globally.
During his 13 year career in mining he served at Anglo Platinum specialising in strategic operational turnarounds for underperforming production areas. To broaden his experience he progressed to consult as Mining Engineer various projects in the platinum and gold mining industry.
With his entrepreneurial passion he set out to broaden his experience in International Trade, Commercial financing, Commercial Income Funds, Oil and gas, Renewable Energy, Agricultural, Transport, Construction, Retail, Import and Export, New Technology and Specialised Software development.
HANLIE MALAN

Specialises in deciphering and navigating complex legislation through in-depth industry knowledge build over 16 years’ of experience in the B-BBEE field.
Hanlie Malan is a director and practising attorney for the past 20 years, specialising in Commercial Law, negotiating highly sophisticated transactions, representing private and multinational companies, private equity investors in a broad range of transactions. Hanlie represent micro and macro businesses with respect to national business succession planning and are adept at planning for the management and/or disposition of unique and illiquid assets, such as private equity interests and closely held businesses. Hanlie applies corporate, securities, partnership and public law to complex business transactions involving the acquisition, ownership, financing and operation of commercial businesses in Southern Africa. Part of her portfolio of specialisation is Family Law, Labour Law, Litigation and Dispute Resolution. Hanlie is also a member of the Swiss Chamber of Commerce, and is making regular contributions, training with regards to all changes in the BEE environment and has been a speaker on a number of occasion and presenting webinars in this regard.
Hanlie Malan specialises in the strategic objectives of B-BBEE since 2005 and is a Director of a SANAS accredited verification agency. From 2020 and operates a SANAS accredited verification agency under the name and auspices of BEE Transformation Solutions (Pty) Ltd. Her specialisation includes but is not limited to inter alia B-BBEE ownership assessment and fronting investigations, ownership restructuring to comply with the BEE commissioner fronting guidelines and codes of good practice and all relevant legislation. An integral part of planning and restructuring business to comply with the BEE Codes of Good Practice and obtaining the highest level of BEE acknowledgement. She also specialises in all the Sectoral subsector Codes inter alia Agriculture, Finance, Construction, Transport, Tourism, ICT.

QUALIFICATION
Bachelor’s of Commerce in Law (BCom Law) and Baccalaureus Legum (LLB)
Mari Fabricius attended the University of Pretoria, and obtained her Bachelors of Commerce in Law (BCom Law) and Baccalaureus Legum (LLB) in 2007 and 2009 respectively. Mari completed her articles of clerkship in 2011 with MacRobert Attorneys, and was admitted as an attorney that year. Thereafter she was employed as an attorney with clients such as City of Tshwane and South African Airways (SAA).
Mari completed a year as a Registrar for two High Court Judges. In 2013, Mari joined the Pretoria Society of Advocates to serve her pupilage, and was admitted as an Advocate of the High Court on 7 May 2013. In the same year she passed the National Bar Examination, and was welcomed as a member of the Pretoria Society of Advocates.
She has been practicing as an advocate of the High Court ever since, with specific interest in family law, Insolvency and commercial law. In 2018 Mari completed the Social Justice Mediation Course, and is currently studying towards a certificate in Occupational Compliance. Mari joined the Hatfield Advocates’ Group in August 2021.
