EMPLOYMENT TAX INCENTIVE

The Employment Tax Incentive is a truly remarkable government initiative introduced in January 2014 whereby companies are encouraged to participate in alleviating unemployment at no additional cost to the company.

The private sector is greatly incentivized by government to use their PAYE portion payable to SARS to fund Skills Development in South Africa through accredited training institutions. This collaboration between the private sector and government reduces the burden on government to upskill our youth and to alleviate unemployment.
